Our promise

Our promise to you

You're trusting us with something that matters, sometimes for years. Here is what we do with it, plainly, and what we don't.

  1. Who looks after them

SealedIn is run by Rabblepop Ltd, a company registered in the UK (no. 17361712), based in Warrington.

You can always reach a person at support@sealedin.app.

  2. Where they're kept

Your envelopes, and everything in them, are stored on Amazon Web Services in London. They travel over encrypted connections.

Delivery emails don't carry your letters, photos or videos. They carry a link, and only the person the envelope was addressed to can open it, after signing in with that email address.

Who at SealedIn can see them

We don't look inside your envelopes. Our own tools show the details we need to run the service — the title you gave it, dates, recipients, file names and sizes — not what you wrote or recorded.

We want to be straight with you: envelopes aren't end-to-end encrypted. That's what lets us deliver them years from now without you needing to keep a key. It also means the files are held by us, which is why we keep our promise not to look.

  3. How delivery works

Each envelope has its own schedule, set for the minute you chose. When that minute comes, we send it. In our own test on 16 October 2026, an envelope arrived 31 seconds after its time. We aim for within a minute, but we don't promise it to the second, and email providers can sometimes hold a message briefly.

If an email doesn't go through, we try again. If someone still can't be reached, we tell you who.

Behind that, a check runs every day for anything that should have gone and hasn't, and if a delivery fails for good, we're alerted.

  4. If something happens to you

An envelope you've sealed is delivered on its date, whether or not you're still using SealedIn. We don't need you to log in, renew or confirm anything.

SealedIn delivers on a date you choose. It doesn't know if someone has died, and it doesn't release envelopes early. If you want a message to go when you die, rather than on a date, a will or a service built for that is the right place.

  5. If their email address changes

Once an envelope is sealed, the addresses on it can't be changed. If you think someone's address might change before the day, you can cancel and seal a new envelope with their new address. For long waits, an address they're likely to keep is best.

  6. Your words are yours

What you put in an envelope belongs to you. We use it for one thing: delivering it to the people you chose. We don't show ads, we don't sell personal information, and we don't analyse what's inside your envelopes.

Email support@sealedin.app to close your account. Drafts and envelopes not yet delivered go with it; envelopes already delivered stay with the people you sent them to.
